Out Of Our Tree Forest School

     Community Interest Company

“a young vibrant company, a partnership between like minded people”

Out Of Our Tree Forest School Community Interest Company is a young vibrant company, a partnership between like minded people. Founded by Seb Corall, who was inspired to retrain as a Forest School Leader after several years of supporting outdoor and woodcraft based teaching and learning at an Infant school.

As a Community Interest Company, we are a Social Enterprise, a not for profit organisation-  we work to bring Forest School and Outdoor Education  to as many children as possible, and re-connect them with nature.

Our Company Directors and Practitioners between them bring over 60 years of passion, dedication and experience in their combined specialist fields to the business.

We also work closely with guest Instructors and Practitioners, chosen for their passion, dedication and expertise. Their specialist areas are as diverse as Learning Outside the Classroom, Woodcrafts, Business Management, Ecology, Forestry, Bushcraft, Woodland & Environmental Management, Arboriculture, Early Years Childcare & Teaching in the Early Years.

Our mission: To enable as many children as possible within Kent to experience Forest School during their Primary and Secondary Education.

Seb founded the company in 2014 and immediately began seeking like minded individuals with his passion to share in his vision and become Company Directors, or freelance Leaders.

Seb has been working with children and introducing the wonders of woodland, and of being at one with nature for over ten years.

Seb is a Fully Qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader and was founding Vice-Chair  of the ‘FSA Kent & Medway’ , who are the local group of the Forest School Association. The group meets to support, promote, lobby and share good practice amongst the growing number of Forest School Practitioners in the county.

Seb owns and manages a large woodland in Wales, and a traditional Kentish coppice woodland for biodiversity and woodfuel, and when not directing Forestry operations, planting Willow for basketry or Leading  Forest School Programmes, he regularly relaxes in the woods with his family, or in a Tentipi in their wildflower meadow. Seb is a talented woodcraft worker, and practices basket making, woodcrafts and timber milling and is very passionate about anything concerning trees and timber. Ancient and antique forestry tools are of particular interest.

    Seb holds:

-A current Mountain & Outdoor First Aid Certificate.

A current 16 hour  Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

-A Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (Food Safety in the Outdoors) Campfire Cooking Food Hygiene Certificate.

    -An Enhanced DBS Check.

When out in the woods with Seb, it becomes very difficult not to become infected with his love of trees, nature and woodland life.

"Seb's care, dedication and passion to empowering children to explore outdoors and enjoy the natural world, is powerful and all encompassing."
